No Space for Hate at DMU

Our No Space for Hate project, in collaboration with De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU), is part of our university wide commitment to challenge inappropriate behaviour and provide students with practical support if they are victims or witnesses of hate or harassment.

NSFH

The project has a dedicated, specialist team who are on hand to offer support and advice around wellbeing, reporting, academic support and more. Students can get in touch Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm (excluding bank holidays and university closure days) on 0116 207 8309 (option 3) or by email. Outside of working hours, you can contact campus security who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The team are also offering students the opportunity to attend a workshop to find out more about the support available and discuss ways we can continue to build social cohesion and inclusivity within our DMU community. If you are interested in booking a workshop, please get in touch with the team via phone or email.

Our dedicated webpage gives further support details, including an anonymous reporting tool, and answers to students’ FAQs.

We want all students and staff to know that at DMU, there is space for you, but there is No Space for Hate.
