International Welcome Week 2023

*Update 19/09/23 - Due to unforseen circumstances, the International Food Fair has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. *

From Tuesday 19 to Friday 22 September 2023, we will be welcoming our international students to DMU with a week full of exciting trips, sessions and activities.

The sessions will cover a wide range of topics including healthcare, opening a bank account, study skills and working in the UK. You’ll also be able to take part in a walking tour of the DMU campus.

This will run alongside our in-person registration appointments for international students and is a great opportunity to settle in before the start of your course. You can get advice on living and studying in the UK and Leicester and meet staff and other new students.

We, alongside De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU), will also be hosting a number of social activities, including an afternoon of games, a sports session evening and a day trip to Oxford.
