The main DMU car park, Gateway House car parks, Mill Lane car park and Bede House car park have been designated for members of the public who have purchased parking tickets for the 2023 BBC Radio 2 in the Park event at Victoria Park on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September.
Therefore, these car parks will not be available for general university parking during that weekend.
Staff, students and contractors who are permit holders and need to park at DMU during that weekend may park in either The Venue car park or Leicester Media School car park.
Welcome Weekend
To enable our new students to arrive at their halls of residence, the following car parks will not be available to staff or returning students from Friday 22 September to Sunday 24 September:
- John Whitehead
- The Venue
- Bede Hall
- Gateway House (reduced availability)
Car-park permit holders are entitled to use any car park on site*, so please go to one of the other university car parks during this time.
