Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference at university? Course Rep Election nominations are open at De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU).
What is a Course Rep?
Each course at De Montfort University has a Course Representative.
Course Reps engage with their peers and provide feedback to academics about their course. They form the essential link between students and their lecturers at university.
They receive training to give them the skills they need for the role, such as how to effectively interact with course mates and raise concerns to academics.
As a Course Rep, you can gain valuable communication, leadership and employability skills by attending meetings across the university and using your student voice.
The volunteering hours you gain as a Course Rep will contribute to your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) that you receive when you graduate.
How can I become a Course Rep?
Course Rep Election nominations are open until Friday 16 October and you can nominate yourself or someone else on your course. Voting will open from Monday 19 October to Monday 26 October.
Does this sound like the opportunity for you? Nominate yourself here. If you have any questions, please email voice@dmu.ac.uk
