The new Covid-19 measures mean that DMU’s catering partner Chartwells is closing some of the campus food outlets until further notice.
The Food Village will remain open from 8am – 4pm (Monday-Friday), offering a takeaway-only service.
Grab your breakfast favourites from 8am – 11am or lunch from 11am. As always, there will be a range of dishes, including pasta pots, jackets and toppers, and great homecooked meals to take away.
Our new app allows you to view the menu and place an order from anywhere, then collect at a time to suit you – offering a quick and easy way to get great food and avoid the queue. Look for ‘Time2Eat’ in the Apple iOS or Google Android app stores.

Users can sign up with a university or personal email and it is open to staff and students. The first time you use the app, you’ll need to register. You will be sent a confirmation email (please check your spam folder if it’s not come through), then you will be signed in and can use the app normally.
Simply Fresh will remain open in the Campus Centre Building from 8am – 3pm (Monday-Friday).
