The National Student Survey is now live: your feedback matters

Each year, final year students across the UK share their thoughts about their university in the National Student Survey (NSS). Conducted by Ipsos on behalf of the Office for Students (OFS), the survey is important for NSS-website-thumbnail ensuring that universities provide the best possible student experience.

What is the NSS?

The NSS is a short survey sent out to every final year student in the UK. Each of the questions ask about a specific part of your university experience, including the teaching, facilities, and assessments.

Anonymous data from the NSS is analysed by Ipsos, a summary of which is then sent across to the university.

Why should I complete the NSS Survey?

The NSS is your chance to have your say about your time at university, and to help shape the future for other students. The results provide DMU with valuable feedback which informs our strategy.

This means by you completing your NSS survey, you can help improve the academic experience for current and future DMU students.

How do I complete the NSS?

From Thursday 23 January, Ipsos will begin sending the survey out to your student email account. This email will contain a direct link to the survey.

Alternatively, you can find the survey here.  You simply need to input your university and student number before completing the survey.

The survey is open from now until 30 April 2025
