Following the latest government guidance, the Kimberlin Library and Eric Wood Building and Learning Zone are now open for individual study. To keep you safe, please follow government guidance - ‘hands, face, space’.
To help keep yourself and others safe, you must follow government guidelines:
- Face coverings must be worn at all times, unless there is a legitimate medical or personal reason for exemption.
- Keep your distance from others, both walking through and studying in the library and Eric Wood Learning Zone.
- Regularly wash your hands and sanitise your workspace and the printers before and after use. Spray and paper towel stations are located throughout the spaces.
- Scan the Safe trace QR code for the area you are studying in.
- Additional ventilation measures, including open windows, are in place to increase fresh air flow, and it might feel colder. Please wrap up warm.
- Eating is currently not permitted in our spaces. Take a break and refuel in the Food Village, which is open weekdays between 8am and 4pm for both takeaways and socially distanced eating in. Hot and cold drinks are allowed, but please ensure you replace your face mask when not drinking.
Library staff and building attendants are available in our spaces to help you and to provide guidance on keeping safe. Please be patient and engage positively if they approach you regarding compliance of Covid protocols.
Don't forget, the library also has a vast range of resources available online.
If you have any questions on how to use the library, go to Just Ask LibChat available 24/7 or email our JustAsk service.
