We’re upgrading the internet and Wi-Fi network in the Art Factory, Queen’s, Clephan and Vijay Patel buildings on selected days during November.

This is part of our ongoing work to give you:

  • A faster, more reliable internet connection across campus
  • Enhanced cyber security
  • Better support for digital learning and collaboration at DMU.

All computers and internet access in the affected buildings will be offline during the work, which is scheduled for these days and times:

Planned upgrade dates

Monday 11 to Tuesday 12 November

From 6pm until late

Need to use a computer or the internet during this time? Simply go to one of the study spaces in another building where there are computers and Wi-Fi available.

If you’re using 4G or 5G mobile internet on your devices, they won’t be affected by this work.

Services should be back to normal by the time each building reopens on the morning after the upgrade.
