As part of Hedgehog Awareness Week, the Sustainable DMU team are hosting a number of fun activities across campus.
Great British Hedgehog Bake-off
The team invite you to take part in the Great British Hedgehog Bake-off, raising money for the British Hedgehog Preservation Society.
You can be a brilliant baker and cook up a masterpiece, or you could be a beginner, baking up a truly terrifying but tasty creation. The hedgehog bake off is open to absolutely everyone.
To take part, complete the Hedgehog Bake-off Registration form and the team will let you know all the details.
If you just fancy eating hedgehog looking cakes, you can purchase from a dedicated hedgehog bake sale stand in the Food Village on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 May, between 11.30am and 2.30pm.
DMU's Hedgehog Litter Pick
Take part in the first hedgehog litter pick of the year on Wednesday 3 May and help keep our campus safe from hazards for these beloved prickly mammals.
Our campus is a hive of wildlife activity, with foxes, badgers and even a deer being spotted in the past year, so by taking part, you will not only be making life a little easier for hedgehogs, but for wildlife as a whole.
Please complete the sign-up form to take part in this Hedgehog Friendly Campus activity.
The hedgehogs say thank you!
