The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship is a leading provider of contemporary industry-relevant Business and Management education in the UK. We strive to be the department of choice for academic excellence delivering top quality programmes to diverse student cohorts.
The department is based within the purpose-built Hugh Aston Building, whose facilities include; lecture theatres and classrooms with capacity for large and small group teaching sessions, break-out spaces for group work, IT laboratories, learning zones and a café.
Our undergraduate degree programme offerings include Business and Management, International Business, Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Business Administration (Level 6 Top-Up) along with a range of joint honours Business degrees. At postgraduate level, we offer a Master degree in International Business with pathways in Entrepreneurship, Finance, HRM, Management, and Marketing. We also offer a generalist MBA degree (Global MBA) and an Executive MBA for senior business executives. A number of our programmes are accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and we hold the Small Business Charter Award – a recognition for our support for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
The Department is home to the Centre for Enterprise and Innovation, with a vibrant research community of staff and postgraduate researchers, through which we ensure research is at the forefront of education delivery.
