e-Learning

It has been agreed by DMU’s University Leadership Board, with the support of UCU and Unison, that all staff working at DMU will be required to undertake our Safeguarding e-learning package.

The course will equip most staff with the knowledge they need to be confident in understanding their role with regard to Safeguarding.

Safeguarding Coordinators will be required to undertake more in depth training.

You can find the training on Blackboard please follow the guide to access:

1. Access Blackboard on your PC or mobile device
2. Click continue
3. When prompted, log in using your Single Sign On Username and password
4. Click on Mandatory & Online Training for Staff in the My Communities section of the Blackboard welcome screen
5. Click on the Safeguarding Essentials tile 

Once the module is launched, click on and complete the Safeguarding Essentials Course. Once you have completed all the learning you can take the test; 70% is the pass threshold.
