To celebrate Earth Day on Monday 22 April, the Sustainability Team are hosting a line-up of engaging events tailored to spark action and increase understanding of sustainability.
Dr. Bike sessions
(11am to 2pm)
In collaboration with Sustrans, we’re offering free Dr. Bike sessions for students. You can get a free bike maintenance check in the Vijay Patel Basement Cycle Store, with one-to-one sessions every 20 minutes.
Sessions are available on a first-come, first serve basis and can be booked in advance here.
Pizza for the Planet
(6pm)
Our evening of sustainability, games and free pizza is back! Come along and enjoy a celebration of Earth Day with fun activities and insightful information.

Scavenger Hunt
Take part in a special Sustainability and the SDGs scavenger hunt across campus. Details of the hunt will be announced on the Sustainable DMU Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok pages.
The winner will receive a set of sustainably produced Fairphone Fairbuds XL worth over £200!
The Daria Project
Learn how to ride a bike for free as part of The Daria Project. If you've never ridden a bike before and would like to learn, register your interest and give it a go!
