It is March, and this means hedgehogs are waking up from their long hibernating slumber and replenishing their fat reserves. Take part in the first hedgehog litter pick of the year and help keep our campus safe from hazards for these beloved prickly mammals.
The litter pick will also help other animals too. We know that our campus is a hive of wildlife activity, with foxes, badgers and even a deer being seen at DMU Leicester in the past year, so by taking part, you will not only be making life a little easier for hedgehogs but also for wildlife as a whole.
The campus litter picking event, which lasts about an hour, will take place on Wednesday 29 March at midday. Please complete the sign-up form to take part in this Hedgehog Friendly Campus activity.
