Update: The deadline for this competition has been extended to 3pm on Thursday 7 September 2023.
Are you graduating from DMU in September 2023 and wanting to look back at your favourite university events and experiences?
If so, enter our Memories at DMU competition* to be in with a chance of having your photos shown on the Vijay Patel screen during graduations week!
To enter, all you need to do is send us a photo (or photos) of your favourite memory from your time at DMU with a short sentence or two about it.
They could be photos from your course, a DMU Global trip, a sport or society event (such as Varsity, social night or BUCS fixture), the first time you met your flat mates or taking part in a volunteering project.
You can send your images to us via email (social.media@dmu.ac.uk) with the subject heading 'DMU Memories Competition' or through a DM on Instagram to the official @dmuleicester account. Please ensure your photo is high resolution and is attached as a jpeg/png file.
We’ll then choose our favourite entries to be featured on the Vijay Patel screen during the week of graduations (Saturday 9 to Friday 15 September 2023).
Winners will also have the opportunity to take photos with their memory on screen on their graduation day.
Entries close at 3pm on Friday 1 September.
