Following DMU's two successful
TEDx conferences (co-organised between the
DMUwomen Network and DMU Enterprise & Entrepreneurship), TEDx returns to the university this spring. Again, this event takes place on online.
We are now accepting applications from staff, students and alumni who would be interested in taking part in the TEDxDemontfortU event, via a talk, film submission or a performance.
This event will explore ideas around digital innovation and entrepreneurship in this unprecedented time of change and uncertainty:
- What lessons have been learned around digital and the new norm?
- What does the future of work look like?
- Where will AI make a difference?
- How can we all equip ourselves for what's ahead?
TEDx conferences are all about individuals sharing their big ideas. TEDx events at DMU are attended by staff, students, alumni – and members of the public. There is no limited to the number of attendees for an online TEDx conference, and each individual talk is uploaded to the global TEDx YouTube Channel after the event.
You can also watch our previous talks for inspiration.
To request an application form, please email tedxdemontfortu@dmu.ac.uk.
Please note the deadline for applications is 4pm on Friday 26 February.
This TEDxDemontfortU conference will take place on Tuesday 18 May 2021.
