On Thursday 30 July, Universities UK will launch National Graduates Day, a focused day of digital activity to bring graduates of UK universities together in celebration.
National Graduates Day aims to celebrate the resilience and achievements of the Class of 2020, in recognition of the difficulties you've faced due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Taking place on International Friendship Day, there are many ways you can get involved with the National Graduates Day celebrations online with your DMU community.
Use the hashtags #2020MADEUS and #WeAreTogether
Use the campaign hashtags #2020MADEUS and #WeAreTogether on your social media accounts to share your photos and videos to mark the completion of your time at university. You could share:
- One thing about studying at DMU you will miss
- The most memorable part of your university experience
- Tips and welcoming advice for new DMU students starting in autumn.
Use the Instagram/Facebook geofilter
There will be a fun geofilter to use on Instagram and Facebook stories on National Graduates Day so you can record a supportive message to fellow graduates or take a celebratory photo.
Share content from the @dmuleicester accounts
Throughout National Graduates Day we will be sharing news stories about our successful our graduates and information about our online Class of 2020 celebrations in August.
Join us in resharing this content to your social media channels, using #WeAreTogether and #2020MADEUS.
