Innovative teaching

Student experience is really important to us, and we are one of the only law schools that offers truly innovative teaching. At Leicester De Montfort Law School, you will be taught and assessed through block teaching which will allow you to have more time to learn your subject in depth. This allows students to focus on one subject at a time, instead of several at once, with more regular assessments and a better study-life balance. With block teaching, not only do students have more time to learn law in depth but students also benefit from a simple timetable with space to enjoy all that university life has to offer.

Block teaching has enabled me to balance a career in law whilst studying full time. Completing modules in blocks has also improved my understanding, retention of knowledge and my overall grade for each module.
