Get work experience - build skills and gain money through part-time work

Our campus based job agency, Unitemps, offers paid part-time and short-term jobs to DMU students. From administration to engineering, events to translation, there is a wide variety of work available through the year, designed to work around your studies.

Our Frontrunners scheme also offers paid part-time internships in roles related to graduate careers. In these internships, students work alongside their studies in the university and local community. Past Frontrunners have worked in fields such as marketing, IT, events, and project support.

We run a jobs board exclusive to DMU students at MyGateway (only accessible with a student login), listing a range of relevant placements, internships, and graduate jobs. Our Employer Engagement team works locally and nationally to source a range of roles for our students.

We also subscribe to a range of other job sites closed to the general public, which have opportunities specific to you as a student of the Business School. This includes:

• The HigherEd Talent Platform, providing UK and International job opportunities and virtual career fairs.

• Student Circus, aimed at international students. This site lists UK jobs which offer Tier 2 sponsorship to live and work in the UK.
