Young Entrepreneurs (Business & Marketing) School

This session is designed to give students the basic tools and ideas for thinking about and shaping new business ideas. Students will be introduced to the basic methods and approaches to marketing, entrepreneurship, and business management, and tasked with proposing a brand-new business idea.

The session will be a mixture of 20% learning and 80% idea generation and business planning. The host for the day has spent 25 years in industry, had two of their own small businesses, and spent many years teaching marketing and business to students. The methods and processes used for this session are exactly the type used in business, and gives students a chance to develop their commercial skills.

You’ll will be put into teams to develop ideas and plans, and the winning teams will be chosen to receive a prize.
