Access Support Day
27 September 09:00am - 3:00pm
With a large proportion of Access students wishing to undertake a degree in Nursing or Midwifery at De Montfort University we are delighted to invite Access students, together with course tutors and advisers, to spend the day with us on campus on Wednesday 27 September to take part in a bespoke event designed with their needs in mind.
The School and College Liaison Team, together with the Health and Life Sciences Faculty have planned in a supportive programme of information tailored to give a whole rounded perspective from applying, to studying, to entering the professions. Along with hearing from senior admissions tutors and academic colleagues who teach on our Nursing and Midwifery programmes, guests will benefit from interacting with current undergraduate students, who themselves have progressed from an Access route and can relate to the questions and decisions students may face. A detailed itinerary for the day can be found here.
The event is free of charge to attend and is open to all students currently studying either Access to Science, Access to Health Professions or Access to Nursing and Midwifery. We would also welcome staff who teach or advise on Access programmes to book their place and benefit from the information and support available.
If you are a current Access student and wish to make a booking please complete the required details here.
If you are a Teacher or Adviser and wish to make a group booking please complete the required details here.
Should you have any questions about the event or require further details please don't hesitate to contact a member of the School and College Liaison Team on 0116 250 60 70 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll happily help.
We hope you are able to join us for this informative event and look forward to welcoming you on to campus soon.
