Councillor Sarah Russell
Pro-Chancellor
Councillor Sarah Russell serves as a Pro-Chancellor at De Montfort University (DMU), a role she has held since August 2021. In addition to her responsibilities at DMU, Councillor Russell is the Deputy City Mayor of Leicester, overseeing social care, health, and community safety. She represents the Westcotes ward as a councillor, a position she has held since 2007.
Councillor Russell's dedication to public service is further exemplified by her role as Vice Chair of East Midlands Councils, where she contributes to regional governance and development.
