Eileen Richards

Pro-Chancellor

Eileen Richards MBE joins DMU as Pro-Chancellor after being an advocate for retaining student talent in the region for many years. Eileen is the Managing Director of ER Recruitment and is the 2020-2021 President of the East Midlands Chamber.  

Eileen is a Trustee for Leicestershire & Rutland charity Hope Against Cancer and is a Committee Member for Wooden Spoon who fund life-changing projects that support children and young people with disabilities or living in disadvantage.

As Co-Chair of Enterprising Women, a female professional support group within the East Midlands, Eileen has been recognised for services to female entrepreneurship through an MBE which she was awarded in 2019.

Eileen’s vast experience within the recruitment sector will bring an insight into attracting and retaining both students and graduates within the region which will complement the ‘Leicester Future Leaders’ and ‘BrightER Futures’ projects in which Eileen already supports.
