Shreena Dasani BSc (Hons)

Shreena Dasani brings over 14 years of experience in investment management, beginning her career in investment banking before transitioning to trading. Currently serving as a Trader at Neuberger Berman, she has established a reputation for deep market insight, strategic thinking, and leadership within a fast-paced, global environment.

Throughout her career, Shreena has held several leadership roles, notably serving as Head of Membership for BNY Mellon’s Women’s Initiative Network, where she championed initiatives to support diversity, inclusion, and the professional development of women in finance. An accomplished public speaker, she frequently shares her career journey to inspire and empower young professionals pursuing careers in the industry.

Beyond her professional achievements, Shreena is deeply committed to social impact. She has dedicated significant time to volunteering with organisations such as Youth Beyond Borders, Radio Lollipop, Key4Life, and Leonard Cheshire. Through her volunteer work, she focuses on creating opportunities and transforming lives for young people, driven by a passion for making a meaningful difference in the community.

Shreena is enthusiastic about joining DMU’s Board of Governors, inspired by the university’s mission to empower students, staff, and the community to create a fairer society.

Born and raised in Leicestershire, Shreena pursued a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
