Internal communications strategy
The DMU Internal Communications Strategy was approved at Executive Board in March and is now being implemented. Please read the plan and don't forget to email us your feedback about the content of the plan or any ideas you have about internal communications.
Hot Topics and Events
If you have a hot topic you would like people to know about, or an event you would like placing on the university-wide events calendar, then please email the team. Events should be submitted using the event form.
The internal communications team manage the plasma screens across the campus. These screens advertise DMU events, activities, services and announcements to staff and students.
We will be pleased to help you advertise your event on these screens, and we ask that you look at the Digitial Signage Guidelines to ensure that your publicity reaches the widest possible audience.
We can target slides at specific buildings or screens or put them on screens across the university.
Within faculties, slides will need to be designed by your web officer. If you are running a campaign through the marketing operations team, be sure to ask for a slide to be designed as part of the publicity.
All slides for the digital screens need to be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org at least five working days before they need to be displayed. We ask that you include as a minimum:
Title of your event/service
Dates/time/venue (if appropriate)
