banner-eg-2

We are piloting a new Talented Student-Athlete Support Scheme for the 2023/24 academic year. This scheme aims to support DMU student-athletes to reach their sporting potential, whilst allowing them to succeed in their academic studies.

We know that balancing both academics and sport can be a challenge at university, and therefore we pride ourselves on developing a bespoke and holistic support programme that is tailored to each DMU student-athlete. The scheme includes an extensive support package, aimed at educating, supporting and developing each student-athlete.

Support

The support we offer includes:

  • Personalised strength and conditioning support
  • Talented athlete lifestyle support
  • Educational workshops including but not limited to; nutrition, sport psychology and anti-doping
  • Gold QE2 Gym Membership

  • Branded gym t-shirt and booklet
  • DMU athlete support network
