Reduce your plastic use and pick up your free DMU reusable mug

New students will be able to collect a free reusable mug on campus next week.

You can save 25p on each hot drink you purchase at coffee shops across campus when you use a reusable mug, so you will have more to spend on other things while doing your bit for the environment.

DMU is committed to creating a more sustainable planet and reducing our plastic use which is part of our commitment to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We gave out over 21,000 reusable mugs last year which significantly reduced the amount of plastic on campus. 

New DMU students can collect their free mug every day next week from 11am – 3pm at the Food Village.

All you need to do is show your student ID card and a reusable mug will be yours!
