Critical Systems

Overview

This course will provide you with in-depth knowledge of the engineering and management of critical systems; as well as the ethical and professional issues of managing them.

In this course, you will:

• Learn about the essential issues of critical systems at both the specification and design stages, including scheduling techniques and international standards;

• Explore the human factors, risk analysis and safety case in relation to the management of critical systems;

• Gain an understanding of the use of formal methods in the life-cycle of critical systems.

This course is designed for systems architects or developers; software developers; computer auditors; systems analysts and application developers
