Emily chose DMU because of the strong course content, which she said “stood out” from other universities she had visited. Since beginning her studies, tutorials have expanded her skills in animation, computer-aided design and drafting, and she is thankful for the weekly feedback she received on her work which constantly pushed her to improve. For her final year project, and as her entry in the Student Starpack Awards – for which she won a silver award - Emily created a Bug House made from corrugated card, designed so that children can paint it themselves to attract the insects.
