Lucy visited DMU on an open day, and said she ‘knew it was the university for me’, with the quality of work produced and Creative Skillset accreditation being two major factors in cementing her decision. She has enjoyed the freedom she has had with the work she has produced, alongside the consistent feedback and support from lecturers throughout her years of study. Lucy has three projects on display; a small, stylised shop, and two scenes that would fit into an already modelled doorway, named ‘Sci-Fi through the Gateway’ and ‘Day of the Dead’.

Her skills, knowledge and experience within 3D work have mostly improved during her time on the course, alongside her techniques in traditional art and soft skills – something she says will be incredibly useful within the workplace. She hopes to either travel after graduation, or go into postgraduate study.
