Part of DMU Women's International Women's Day 2022 programme

To celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Media will be holding as panel discussion event hosted by Dr Sarah Jones, Associate PVC Education (Transformation) and Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Media. This all-female panel of alumni, staff and students will come together to discuss this year's International Women's Day theme, break the bias. They will share their own personal experiences and views on what can be done to break tackle bias in computing, engineering and media careers and how we can work towards creating more diversity, inclusivity and equitable outcomes.

  • Shivani Pandey, MSc Cyber Security
  • Timilehin Olusa, Electrical and Electronic Engineering BEng (Hons)

The event will be online and you will be given the opportunity to get involved with the discussions and ask questions.  

Bookings will close 1 hour prior to the start of the event, and registrants will receive a link to join the online event 24hrs before the event, via their provided email address.
