Mohamed Ismaeel Maricar was born in Nagapattinam, India . He received a B.Eng degree in Electronics and communication engineering from the Sathyabama University,India in 2009, MSc degree in Microwave Engineering and wireless subsystem design from the University of Surrey, UK in 2010 and a PhD degree in Microwave integrated circuits from the De Montfort University, K, in 2014.After his PhD, he was working as a research fellow at University of Durham and University of Nottingham. Currently he is working as a senior lecturer at De Montfort University.
Dr.Mohamed Ismaeel Maricar research work has spanned a large number of area in RF and Microwave devices and circuits. It includes microstrip antenna, waveguide, Gunn diodes, resonators, filters and channel sounder. Recently Mohamed Ismaeel has been involved with electrical equivalent circuits model for GaAs/InP planar Gunn diode structure and THz antenna design for broadband communication and energy harvesting.
