Brian Dodds is a Senior Lecturer and teaches on a range of the practical journalism courses, with particular focus on digital and social media. He is Programme Leader for single honours and joint honours Journalism, having joined the DMU team in 2013, and continues to work as a freelance journalist.
His career as a journalist spans 30 years and includes more than a decade as a regional newspaper editor, as well as freelance spells with various organisations, including as a digital journalist at Sky Sports News and as a Public Relations consultant and writer.
