Dr Runda Gao

Runda Gao (aka ‘Rita Gao’) is a Lecturer in Business Management and the Programme Leader for BA International Business Programme at Leicester Castle Business School (DMU). Rita joined De Montfort University in September 2022, from Coventry University where she was involved in various teaching activities including delivering lectures, seminars and workshops at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervising undergraduate dissertations. In 2021, she worked as a member of the Apprenticeship Panel at Coventry University facilitating the MBA Programme. During her PhD study, she also secured a role as a Visiting Lecturer at Birmingham City University.

Her eclectic interests locate mostly at the interface of International Business Economics, International Trade and Applied Econometrics. She has a flair for data collection and analysis and conducting research statistically by programming Stata, EViews, R, GAUSS and SPSS.
