Personal profile

I have 7 years experience as a sales and marketing consultant working with a diverse range of organisations including Marks & Spencer, Reed Business Call, Age UK, Tetra Pak and Procter and Gamble. I have spent the last 26 years teaching in higher education, including marketing, advertising, consumer behaviour, international marketing and tutoring students on PG Certificate Teaching courses. I have delivered extensive conference papers around metaphors in advertising and enhancing student engagement, satisfaction and achievement. For the last 10 years my focus has been on learning & teaching with papers and practical sessions delivered at a range of conferences including the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS), AdvanceHE and the Playful Learning Association. I have also written a number of blog posts for CABS and run a Podcast called the L&T Chat Show.
