Personal profile

Preeti brings a wealth of practical and theoretical knowledge to the classroom. Currently a Lecturer in Marketing and Higher Degree Apprenticeships, she is keen to shape the next generation of marketing professionals.

Before transitioning into academia, Preeti accumulated industry experience, starting as a Design Assistant for 18 months, working with key brands. This role enhanced her skills in creativity and brand management. Following this, Preeti joined the Supply Chain and Logistics department at NEXT Head Office for five years. This exposure at NEXT provided her with deeper insights into the complexities of supply chain management and logistics.

Preeti joined DMU in 2018 and began her career as a Lecturer in Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeships in 2021, conveying valuable knowledge and skills to adult learners. This experience paved the way for her current role in the Department of Leadership, Management, and Marketing, where she now lectures in Marketing. Preeti brings real-world industry experience to an academic setting, fostering an engaging and practical learning environment for students.

Preeti is passionate about education and committed to student success, by enhancing student experience with innovative teaching methods and active engagement in academic and professional communities.
