 -----

My research supervision interests cover areas around urban political economy, local governance, community development and social movements. I am interested in critical approaches to governance in the local sphere, in the relation between the local and the national, in studies on austerity and its impact on local policies, in forms of social and political innovation in public policy-making (i.e. Co-production, self-management, citizen participation), and in experiences of resistance.

Also potential interest in studies on collective identities.
