Brian graduated from De Montfort University in 1991 with a First Class Honours Degree in Interior Design, when it was Leicester Polytechnic and has been involved with the subject area ever since, mostly on a part-time basis, but is now a full time Senior Lecturer on the Interior Design programme.

His commercial background is predominantly in Retail, Exhibition and Corporate Interiors both in this country and Australia, working with clients as varied as Adidas, Levi’s, Karrimor, Converse, Berghaus, Dr Martens, Firetrap, JD Sports and HP Retail.

He has worked for Checkland Kindleysides, Knox Associates, Ratcliffe Fowler, MBBD Retail (in Sydney, Australia) and until a few years ago, was a freelance design consultant for Briggs Hillier, Mynt, and other local design companies.
