HE Advice and Guidance for Mature Students

As a mature student the Higher Education experience is an exciting opportunity and choosing to go to university is a big decision. The amount of choice is huge; both in course and universities, and the application process can at first appear daunting. This section of our web site is designed to help you through the process whether you are applying to De Montfort University or thinking of applying elsewhere.

We will take you through step by step from making the decision to go to university in the first place to the support that will be available to you when you actually arrive. Start to finish this process can take as long as 18 months so you can either read and digest all the information right at the start or bookmark us and come back for more each time you reach one of the key stages.
