This course will give you the requisite skills to allow you to progress to post-graduate study in Computing. It is a mixture of English and academic skill development alongside subject study that will help you to consolidate your subject knowledge. You will be taught English and research skills by specialists in these areas with other students who are seeking to study at postgraduate level in many different subjects.
Through a broadly based programme of scholastic and English language preparation, the Graduate Diploma offers a grounding in academic content and in the key personal, conceptual and linguistic skills articulated below.
Subject specific computing modules will draw extensively on current material from appropriate sources and students will have opportunities to develop and enhance the broadest range of transferable skills so that they are able to perform effectively on a postgraduate course in Computing.
