Entry criteria

English language requirements

Our science courses require an IELTS 6.5 with minimum of 5.5 in each band, with the exception of Pharmacy (MPharm) which requires an IELTS 6.5 overall with 5.5 in each band, and Speech and Language Therapy with an IELTS 7.5 overall.

 

We offer pre-sessional English courses to help you improve your IELTS level before you begin your studies.

How to Apply

Download the application form at dmu.ac.uk/intapp and return it, along with copies of the following documents, to the International Admissions Office at iao@dmu.ac.uk

  • A copy of your qualifications
  • A copy of your English language certificate  
  • A photocopy of your passport
  • 1 reference for undergraduate/2 references for postgraduate study

UCAS: For undergraduate study, you can also apply via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). To apply to DMU you will need the UCAS Institution Code: DEM/D26
