Following the success of last year’s inaugural Chancellor’s Concert, De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) and the world-renowned Philharmonia Orchestra are teaming up once again to offer another spectacular evening.
This year’s event will be held at Leicester’s De Montfort Hall on Wednesday 7 February at 7pm with Vice-Chancellor Professor Dominic Shellard and DMU’s Chancellor Baroness Doreen Lawrence in attendance.
And you could be joining them as there are 100 tickets up for grabs for students.
The concert is titled 'Bartok meets Beethoven' and you can find out more about the music that you can enjoy here.
Tickets will be offered on a first come first basis and to win simply email firstname.lastname@example.org before midnight on Friday 12 January.
We are expecting tickets to be in high demand, so don't hesitate to enter.
DMU Head of Music Chris Heighton, said: “The Philharmonia are one of the world’s great orchestras with a strong connection to the city of Leicester.
“Through our unique partnership, we create opportunities for students to hear some of the finest musicians in the world and be inspired by the ‘live orchestral experience."
