BA Hons Management - Framework

Overview

The BA (Hons) Management is a highly flexible framework which offers organisations a unique opportunity to construct a bespoke degree aligned to business needs.

The degree incorporates opportunities for significant work based learning and work based assessment. Across the framework at all levels there is a wide choice of modules and a representative range of assessment mechanisms, to enable collaborative selection of an appropriate suite of modules to meet your organisational needs.

Structure and content

The degree contains a number of compulsory modules to form a core thread of management theory and practice, essential for developing future managerial capacity.

The framework allows for specific organisational issues and interests to be addressed, creating a degree to emphasise the skills and practice associated with; managing people, managing finance, marketing management or managing entrepreneurially. Alternatively, a broad degree covering all areas of management might be more suitable.

Careful thought has been paid to the assessment, to ensure the way in which participants’ knowledge and understanding is tested is relevant to the world of work, and has the power to impact on employees’ behaviour and practices.
