Cavell Nurses’ Trust is about to enter its centenary year, which will be marked by a number of high profile events across the country. DMU is pleased to promote this endeavour and hopes some students and staff might participate in the activities. The Centenary Appeal aims to improve the profile of the Trust in the nursing community and to raise over £1 million during the centenary year.
The Centenary Appeal will be formally launched at the Tower of London in May and thereafter there will be a series of regional launch events. These events will help the Trust engage with the nursing community in academia, the military and our supporters in business, and by doing so raise awareness of its work and increase its supporter base. HRH The Princess Royal has agreed to be the President of the Centenary Appeal.
DMU welcomes the Nurses League to this website to share our ideas for advancing care and compassion in all aspects of nursing and midwifery.
