DMU and LCFC: A winning team
Brilliant teamwork has powered Leicester City to the Premier League title – and De Montfort University (DMU) is proud to say we’ve been on the same side for years.
Our latest agreement to become the club’s Official Higher Education Partner builds on four years of two great Leicester institutions working together, and comes as the Foxes shake up the football orthodoxy and rewrite the history books.
Our partnership with the Premier League champions has made the whole of the DMU family fervent followers of an unfolding fairytale that’s caught the imagination of billions, from Barton In The Beans to Bangkok.
We've unveiled a huge banner of support for the Foxes, highlighting the way they have challenged conventions and expectations - a spirit we embody here at DMU.
Our great relationship with Leicester City helped put a Business graduate in the top flight for jobs, while club legend Matt Elliott is working with us, with the goal of turning our men’s and women’s football teams into champions.
Talented graduate Abbie Tacey was part of the fabric of Leicester’s previous moments of glory and academic Dr Neil Carter has been sharing the details of the club’s proud history with fans.
Our connection with the team helped a Graduate Champion win her dream role, and we’ve celebrated with and been celebrated by the club and its backers.
