Research Fellow and PhD research student at the Lean Engineering Research Group within Advanced Manufacturing Processes and Mechatronics Centre of De Montfort University. Adam has completed his Master degree in Mechatronics at De Montfort University with distinction in September 2012. He also has 4-year industrial work experience in equipment maintenance and project planning and coordination for multi-million dollar projects in container terminals.
Adam has been involved in research projects at De Montfort University since January 2012. He started his research work in microwave electronics by investigating the dielectric properties of solid and liquid materials and the associated physical and chemical changes to the material due to electromagnetic waves.
Adam has been working at the Lean Research Group since September 2012 and has been involved in the management, supervision and implementation of different Technology Strategy Board funded projects. The projects integrate different engineering disciplines such as manufacturing science, materials science, information technology, art and media, civil engineering and mechanical engineering.
