The two focal points of my teaching are theatre making and popular performance and currently I teach modules exploring clown, commedia dell' arte and devised theatre. My research also focuses primarily on popular performance and I have co-edited and contributed a chapter to Popular Performance (Bloomsbury) as well as co-editing a special edition of the Theatre, Dance and Performance Training journal (Taylor and Francis) focusing on training the popular performer. Both were published in 2017.
